Methyl Green (Purified) Solution. This month we are pleased to feature our Ready-to-Use, Methyl Green for counterstaining nuclei in various histology procedures. The product is an aqueous formulation that will not adversely affect alcohol soluble chromogens, such as AEC or Fast-Red, when performing immunohisto-chemistry. Methyl Green is also ideal as a counterstain for BCIP which does not contrast well with Hematoxylin.
