DAB Chromogen Concentrate

3,3'-Diaminobenzidine (DAB) Concentrate
Is a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical staining and immunoblotting. When in the presence of the peroxidase enzyme, DAB produces a brown precipitate that is insoluble in alcohol. Stained slides may be mounted in any commercially available permanent mounting media. This product is available in a convenient two component form. For maximum flexibility, this product is available in bulk amounts or convenient dropper-top. Use with ScyTek catalog number ACC999, DAB Substrate.

DAB Chromogen Tablets

Are available in 10mg per tablet form. One tablet is added to 10ml of substrate buffer for intense, consistent staining. Use with ScyTek catalog number ACC500, DAB Substrate.

Is a single component reagent that is added to the DAB solution prior to incubation on the tissue section. One drop (50 microliters) of DAB Enhancer is added to each one ml of DAB Substrate.

DAB One-Component Solution (3,3'-Diaminobenzidine)

ScyTek Laboratories, Inc. introduces the first functional single component DAB reagent on the market. All mixing and waste is eliminated using ScyTek's new highly sensitive DAB one-component reagent. This reagent produces a crisp, clean, very intense stain that is free of unwanted background. When in the presence of peroxidase, DAB produces a brown precipitate that is insoluble in alcohol. Stained slides may be mounted in any commercially available mounting media. This product is stable for 2-3 months.
