ABTS (2,2'-Azinodi 3-Ethyl Benzthiazoline Sulfonic)

2,2'-Azinodi(3-Ethyl Benzthiazoline Sulfonic Acid) (ABTS) is a commonly used chromogen for the detection of Horseradish peroxidase in enzyme immunoassays (ELISA). This single component, produces a soluble blue-green reaction product that is measured at 405 nm.
