FluoreGuard Mounting Medium
FluoreGuard Mounting Medium is a water-soluble formulation mounting medium is designed for semi-coverslipping of fluorescent slide preparations. For use with immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, special stains, chromogenic tissue, and cell staining. Available in convenient dropper top bottles. FluoreGuard is an aqueous based medium and may be removed by soaking in PBS overnight. FluoreGuard dries to a semi-rigid layer which eliminates tissue damage due to moving coverslips and facilitates long term storage.
Summary Protocol:
Apply several drops of FluoreGuard Mounting Medium and coverslip.
Allow FluoreGuard to dry for 30 minutes prior to viewing.
Product will dry to a semi-solid form overnight.
